Itinerary
CHECK-IN & SAFARI TRANSPORTATION
After meeting at the reception, we will take the safari trucks to Ebano House, which is our base camp and where the trails begin. 10 minutes.
SHORT HIKE TO ÉBANO RESERVE & WATERFALLS
A beautiful path in the Nature Reserve will lead you to the Ebano Waterfalls, a double waterfall hidden within the Rainforest. In the back, you can stop by Ebano House to use the restroom or refill your water. 2 hours.
OCEAN VIEW SUNSET WITH COFFEE
We will take the Safari Truck to reach the top of the mountain where the Big Mango Lookout is located. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Punta Dominical Bay, Caño Island, Diamante Waterfall, and the mountains from there. Also, you can relax and enjoy some delicious Costa Rican coffee and homemade snacks while watching a fantastic ocean-view sunset from an elevated spot of 450 meters or 1,500 feet, close enough to the sea to see and hear the waves. 1 hour.
RETURNING, THE SOUNDS AND COLORS OF THE NIGHT
After watching the sunset, the drive back will be an interesting experience. The guest will hear the sounds of the jungle at night from the truck, a peaceful different world. 20 mins

About the Hiking
The trail is in good condition with a few slopes but mostly flat. You will find two bridges along the way, as well as ropes and handrails to help you stay safe. Anyone in normal physical shape without any hiking experience can handle it. However, it is not advisable for people who have recently undergone surgery or have knee or health problems. Fortunately, there is an alternative tour available that doesn't involve hiking.
No Hike tour version
It's possible to not hike and wait for the rest of the group at our base camp called Ebano House. Please indicate when booking if you will not be joining the hike.
- If have to cancel, we will do our best to accomodate the cliet in another date, if not refunded policies will be applied
- Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 2 days (48 hours) or less before the event
- Cancellation fee of 15% is charged if cancelled more than 2 days (48 hours) before the event
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time
